ORIM Releases New “Traveler’s Notes”
Traveler’s notes are ORIM’s Versions of Travel Advisories or Cautions to a particular part of the developed world. The notes will be issued by ORIM’s editorial board or editor based off recent news stories. These warnings may or may not reflect official travel advisories issued by the US State Department or other sources of official advisories.
Types of ORIM Traveler’s Notes:
- Traveler Telegraph: A preliminary advisory expressing the need to exercise caution. Simply this is a “you should be aware” notice.
- Traveler Caution: Travelers should take caution visiting this region.
- Traveler Advisory: Travelers are warned that a potentially dangerous situation is imminent.
- Traveler Warning: Suggests travelers should stay away from this region.
