“We’re Not Covering It” Editor Decides on Swine Flu
EDITORIAL - You’re probably reading this after scouring the internet for anything related to Swine Flu. This editorial is about all that you’ll see about it here. Open Road International Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief has decided that there will be no coverage of Swine Flu within the Magazine.
“We’re not in a position to update our articles often enough to be timely, and there is so much on the news about it as it is.” Editor-in-Chief Brad McGarr said by email Thursday. “The decision is final, we’re not covering it. Not at all. Unless the border closes, which is something that would effect travel, we’re not covering Swine Flu or anything related to it.”
Open Road International Magazine is an online collaborative travel magazine geared toward the average traveler. Anyone may submit articles to ORIM and may be chosen to be a contributing journalist.
